Each panel holds 10-12 pots per square foot, and I mix foliage like Syngonium and Boston Ferns to create dense, living patterns that hide the hardware completely, giving you a lush wall from day one. ### How I Approach Vertical Gardening Many people think a green wall is just about sticking plants on a surface, but it is actually about creating a self-sustaining ecosystem. Whether you want to cover a balcony wall or an office reception, the process starts with a plan. I use a high-density modular system that allows for easy plant replacement and ensures the structure can support the weight without damaging your walls. ### Why My Vertical Gardens Thrive I focus on plant selection that fits the specific light and air conditions of the Delhi NCR region. I prefer using hardy, air-purifying foliage like Philodendrons, Boston Ferns, and Money Plants. These plants are tough, grow well in our climate, and allow me to play with different leaf textures and colors to create patterns that look intentional, not messy. ### The Irrigation Factor Watering is the biggest challenge for any vertical garden. My installations include a hidden lateral pipe system with individual drippers for every pot. This ensures that every plant gets exactly the water it needs, preventing the common issue of root rot or uneven growth. Once the plumbing is connected to your existing water point, your only task is to enjoy the view. ### Maintenance Vertical gardens do need care to look their best. I provide ongoing maintenance services, including pruning, pest control, and seasonal plant refreshing. If a plant isn't doing well, we replace it. The goal is to keep the wall looking as green and vibrant as the day it was installed. If you have a specific pattern in mind or just want to brighten up a dull corner, I can help you design a layout that transforms your space. ## About Akar Eco Greens I run my own nursery here in Gurugram, which keeps me close to every plant I install. When you reach out for a vertical garden, I am the one designing the layout and selecting the greenery, ensuring you get a living wall that actually thrives.
