Whether it is a small terrace garden or a large landscape project, we prioritize practical, sustainable materials like clay bricks and terracotta that actually breathe. If you are concerned about balancing design aspirations with financial reality, we are the team that starts with the honest 'budget yenu?' (what is the budget?) conversation—so the final build is a dream that stays grounded. Our work at AKAR Design Studio spans from the heart of Bengaluru's urban infrastructure to the quiet corners of your private sanctuary. We believe that architecture should be a conversation between the site and the people who live there. When we took on the KR Circle project, our goal was to stop people in their tracks. We turned a chaotic traffic junction into a functional public library and green garden, proving that urban planning can be both beautiful and useful. That same design philosophy applies to our residential projects. Whether we are designing a modern Tulsi Katte for your home or a geometric terrace garden, we rely on vernacular materials—clay, stone, brick—to create spaces that feel cool, comfortable, and timeless. We offer three primary service tiers to suit your needs: - **Terrace & Balcony Design:** Tailored for city homes, focusing on hardscaping like pergolas and lighting to maximize your outdoor living. - **Villa Landscape Design:** A comprehensive approach for larger compounds, covering everything from boundary walls and driveways to drainage and planting strategies. - **Farmhouse & Estate Master Planning:** Large-scale topographical analysis to manage water, circulation, and zoning for country homes. We do not just hand over a plan and walk away. From the initial Bhoomi Pooja that marks the start of a project to the final site visit during the planting phase, we stay with you. Design is a journey, and we want to ensure it is as stress-free as it is rewarding. ## About AKAR Design Studio We’re AKAR Design Studio, a team that loves the smell of wet earth and the challenge of a complex design puzzle. We’re just as comfortable designing a bustling Bengaluru traffic junction as we are sketching the perfect home garden. For us, design isn't about awards—it's about the late-night conversations and the joy of seeing your space come alive.
