We prioritize flush-level flooring transitions between your indoor living rooms and the external stone patios. By aligning the floor heights of your lounge with the outdoor terrace, we ensure that wide glazing units open up to create a unified space, allowing your home to feel significantly larger and more integrated with the surrounding greenery. Our approach to farmhouse landscapes in Delhi NCR balances the grandeur of large estates with the intimacy of a home garden. Whether working on expansive plots like the Mehalin Farm or creating a rustic, established feel at a property like the Mustard Farmhouse, our focus remains on structural harmony. We begin with rigorous site development, ensuring land grading prevents water logging and preparing the soil with a nutrient-rich base. For neo-classical structures, we employ symmetrical layouts, manicured lawns, and specimen tree planting to frame the building's facade without obstructing views. For properties requiring a more traditional or rustic charm, we introduce materials like red stone, cobblestones, and weathered brick. We incorporate functional zones, such as stone gazebos for social gatherings or shaded colonnaded walkways that provide relief from the summer sun. Lighting is handled through subtle, low-voltage pathway bollards and tree uplighters, keeping the estate functional and safe after dusk. Throughout the process, we maintain a focus on sustainability, selecting native plant species that thrive in the local climate and installing efficient irrigation grids to manage water usage. Our goal is to craft an environment that feels like it has always been a part of the land, providing a tranquil escape from the density of city life. ## About Ajay Nirmal Architects We specialize in bridging the gap between built architecture and the natural landscape.
