When planning your layout, keep in mind that these bold, large-scale setups require significant space to truly shine, so we will need to coordinate closely with your venue's ground dimensions to ensure the proportions feel balanced. The 'Jashn-e-Ishq' theme is about more than just a colour palette of deep reds and golds; it is about creating a space that feels both nostalgic and grand. My approach focuses on traditional elements that defined weddings for generations—marigold strings, jasmine, and temple bells—but integrates them into modern, stable structures. ### Designing Your Traditional Setup When we build a 'Jashn-e-Ishq' mandap, I often use a combination of fresh flowers and ornate pillars to anchor the space. This is a design that demands attention. * **The Mandap:** We use bespoke structures, often featuring classic arches or domes, heavily layered with marigolds and roses. This is the sacred heart of the event, and it needs to feel permanent and significant. * **Lighting:** Because we use deep, rich colours, lighting is critical. I use focused warm-tone spotlights to ensure the reds and golds pop, rather than washing them out. We want a cinematic feel at night, not a flat, brightly lit stage. * **Seating:** Traditional setups pair best with comfortable velvet sofas or ornate silver chairs, which keep the luxury aesthetic intact while ensuring your guests feel comfortable during long ceremonies. ### Practical Considerations for Large Decor This style involves significant volume work—thousands of stems and heavy fabrication. If you are planning an open-ground wedding in Mumbai, we should discuss the venue's entry points and load-bearing capacity for our stage backdrops early in the process. My goal is to make these 'larger-than-life' elements feel personal to your story, not just a standard setup. We will work together to ensure the scale fits your guest count and the natural flow of your ceremony. ## About Ajay Decorators I am Ajay Singh, and for me, weddings are the ultimate celebration of life.
