When I started during a difficult health phase, I never imagined it would grow into a business that supports other women and ships across the country. It is more than just yarn; it is a full-time commitment to quality and craft. My journey with A Handcrafted Gaatha began in 2022. I was going through a tough phase with PCOD and needed a distraction, so I picked up a hook and yarn. Suddenly, I had a focus. That initial hobby turned into my primary source of income and a way to channel my creative energy. I handle every single part of this business myself, from content creation and photography to the late-night packaging sessions. It is raw, it is messy, and it is completely mine. People often ask how I manage the transition from artist to entrepreneur. It comes down to consistency. Whether I am at a market stall in Delhi or shipping a custom order to a customer in another state, I treat every project with the same dedication. My father, a businessman, taught me that building a sustainable venture takes patience and grit. I have integrated that advice into my work, moving from those initial losses to breaking even and now scaling up. My brand is built on this foundation of authenticity.
