We don't just teach you how to plant; we help you select the right containers, build your own potting mix from scratch, and master organic pest control methods like neem oil application. You will learn to grow produce that is safe, healthy, and free from the heavy metals often found in store-bought greens. ### Grow What You Eat Many of our participants start with the fear that they lack a 'green thumb' or adequate space. Our workshops are designed to break those myths. We provide clear, scientific, yet simple guidance on how to manage sunlight, watering cycles, and nutrient needs for a variety of crops. ### What You Will Learn * **Container Selection & Soil Prep:** Learn the difference between soil-based and soil-less media. We teach you how to mix your own potting soil for better drainage and growth. * **Microgreens & Herbs:** Master the art of growing nutrient-dense microgreens that can be harvested in just a few days, even on a kitchen windowsill. * **Sustainable Composting:** Turn your kitchen waste into black gold. We show you simple composting techniques that drastically reduce your household waste while nourishing your plants. * **Seasonal Planning:** Not every vegetable grows well at every time of the year. We guide you on what to sow, when to sow, and how to protect your plants during Bengaluru’s specific weather changes. ### Our Hands-On Approach We don't believe in boring theory. Whether you join us for an online webinar or a weekend workshop at our Jayanagar urban farm, you get practical insights. You'll understand how to use trellising for creepers, how to prune for better yield, and how to identify common pests before they damage your harvest. Our goal is to build a community of home growers who can confidently sustain their own kitchen gardens.
