By the time they leave our Kumbalgodu center, they aren't just reciting crop cycles; they are ready to run their own greenhouses or set up productive home gardens. We prioritize the 'why' and 'how' over textbook definitions because you cannot learn sustainable farming from a screen. Success in agriculture isn't about memorizing chemical formulas. It is about understanding the plant, the soil, and the ecosystem. Whether you are looking at our 2-day hydroponics workshop in Kumbalgodu or our intensive 5-day commercial horticulture certification, the goal remains the same: practical confidence. ### Why our trainees succeed - **Hands-on immersion:** We ditch the classroom. You learn by mixing potting media, calibrating pH meters for Dutch farming, and managing irrigation systems directly in the greenhouse. - **Bridging the gap:** Many university students come to us with technical degrees but no idea how to manage a crop. Our internship programs help them connect their thesis ideas to real market economics. - **Solving for reality:** Farmers who visit us aren't looking for theory. They are looking for solutions to price instability and pest management. We focus on techniques that are actually profitable, like protected cultivation and value-added processing. ### What you can learn We don't believe in one-size-fits-all education. Our trainees come from diverse backgrounds, and our curriculum adapts to that. Beginners typically start with our urban home gardening workshops in Jayanagar, where we teach kitchen composting and balcony growing. Those aiming for a career pivot or farm setup dive into our hydroponics and permaculture modules. If you are ready to stop watching and start growing, join us for our next session. Namma jothege banni, kaliyona, beleyona. ## About AgroTIE We are a collective of trainers and farm experts who believe the best way to learn agriculture is to get muddy.
