## About From Seed to Harvest: A Look Inside Our Farm

Getting a healthy start is the most crucial step in farming. You might be tempted to use plain soil, but we teach why treated cocopeat is the secret to strong roots. It retains moisture and stays light, preventing the root rot that often happens with heavy garden soil. Whether you are prepping for a kitchen garden or a commercial polyhouse, getting the substrate right is where the harvest truly begins.

### Mastering the Nursery Phase

A common mistake beginners make is overlooking the nursery phase. They focus on the final crop, but if your seedling isn't resilient, the plant will struggle to grow. At our Kumbalgodu centre, we focus on the entire lifecycle, from seed to transplant.

### Why Cocopeat Matters

In our workshops, we dive deep into growing media. You will learn why cocopeat has become the industry standard for seedling production. It is lightweight, holds nutrients well, and offers excellent aeration. However, because it comes from coconut husks, we teach you why raw cocopeat must be treated to balance its salt content before it touches your seeds. It is a small step that makes a huge difference in germination rates.

We do not believe in hours of PowerPoint presentations. Our nursery workshops are fully hands-on. You will learn:
