## About Agricultural Training & Workshops

### Why We Do What We Do

For us at AgroTIE, agriculture is more than just growing crops. It’s a 'samaajakke ondu koduge' (giving back to society). We're all about practical learning, where you actually dig, sow, and see how things work. If you want to learn with both hands and mind, you’ll feel right at home.

### What You’ll Experience

- We bring together the best of Indo-Dutch methods, so our training isn’t just local but globally recognized.
- Workshops are open for everyone - beginners, experienced farmers, women, students, and even urban folks with zero background.
- We teach in both English and Kannada, making sure no one feels left out.

### What We Offer

- Hydroponics training India: Grow cherry tomatoes and capsicum even without soil, using cocopeat and more.
- Protected cultivation: Learn greenhouse tricks in both polyhouse and nethouse setups.
- Nursery & seedling basics: Start your farm strong with healthy seedlings.
- Urban home gardening workshop: Perfect for balconies and terraces, using organic methods for your daily greens.
- Microgreens, exotic veggies, and even special sessions just for school kids.

### Why It Matters

- We focus on women in sustainable agriculture, running programs that go beyond farming to include finance and entrepreneurship.
- Kids can join farm day-outs and get hands-on with nature, not just theory.
- Volunteering opportunities if you want to get your hands in the mud and see what it’s all about.

Namma jothege banni, kaliyona, beleyona! (Come with us, let’s learn and grow together.)

## Meet your expert

[AgroTIE](https://mytribe.in/agrotieindia)

### My story

Ellarigu namaste! We’re AgroTIE, and for 7 years, we’ve been mixing Dutch farming smarts with our own Indian soil. Our Centre of Excellence isn’t just a farm – it’s a spot for learning, experimenting, and getting muddy. We’ve trained thousands – farmers, kids, women, you name it. Seeing trainees start their own farms? That’s our real win. Prakrutijothege, prakruthiyinda, prakruthiyondige (With nature, from nature, alongside nature).

### My work

- **Hands-on Training & Workshops**: We teach Hydroponics, Indo-Dutch greenhouse workshops, nursery management, permaculture, and sustainable kitchen gardening classes.
- **Farm Day Tours & Yoga Mornings**: Join us for farm tours or chill mornings with yoga right in nature at our Kumbalgodu center.
- **Practical Learning**: No boring theory - you get your hands dirty and learn every step, Kannada or English, seed to harvest.
- **Open for All**: Students, agri-enthusiasts, women, home growers – our programs fit anyone curious about growing healthy food.
- **Community & Support**: We help you with value-added products and guide you through government schemes for success.
