When you read these snippets, you are seeing the result of hours spent in the studio with my orchestra, working to ensure the storytelling connects with the audience beyond just the technical movements. ### A Personal Quest Bharatanatyam is not just about the technical perfection of a Thillana or the complex rhythms of a Varnam. For me, it is a personal dialogue. As noted in my recent features in The Hindu and The Indian Express, I aim to create a space where the nayika or the mythological characters feel relatable and human. My approach to the repertoire is deliberate; I strip away unnecessary theatricality to let the essence of the bhava (emotion) shine through. ### Why This Matters for Your Event When you look to hire a performer, you are not just booking a dancer.
