Every commission starts with a sketch or digital mock-up for your approval, ensuring the traditional iconography aligns with your space before the brush touches the canvas. Traditional art is more than just decor; it is about bringing a narrative into your room. My work with Pattachitra and Pichwai focuses on retaining the authenticity of these ancient styles while adapting them for contemporary homes. When we talk about Pattachitra, we are looking at the Odisha-style line work. I focus on the storytelling aspect—whether it is Lord Vishnu reclining on Shesha or a meditative Ayyappa. These pieces require immense patience, often involving dense patterning and fine brushwork that needs to be precise. For these, I use treated cloth or canvas, ensuring that the vibrancy of the acrylic and poster colors remains sharp over time. On the other hand, my Pichwai commissions often lean towards the serene and the symbolic. The lotus motifs, for instance, are perfect for creating a calm focal point in a living room or a pooja space. These pieces are not just decorative; they are rooted in the devotional traditions of Rajasthan but executed with a modern eye for color balance and composition. I handle every stage of the process personally. For larger projects, like temple murals or huge wall pieces, we use high-quality heavy-duty canvas to prevent sagging, finished with a UV-resistant varnish to protect the detail. For standard commissions, we deliver them with L-channel floating frames. If you have a specific deity, a story, or a color scheme in mind, let’s discuss the dimensions and the level of detail you need. I prefer to have a clear understanding of the 'why' behind your piece, so the final work feels like it belongs in your home. ## About Aditattva Art I'm Vicky Shetty from Aditattva Art.
