Whether it is the biophilic layers of our workspace, *Akshara Vinyasaa*, or the material-first approach in our retail showrooms, these projects were driven by that same *kulbulahat* (restless itch) to get the details exactly right. We treat every recognition as a sign that we are on the right path—creating spaces that are not just visually striking, but deeply, functionally soulful. For us, architecture is a dialogue between context, craft, and conscious choices. Being recognized by WADE Asia as a finalist for the Young Architect of the Year 2025 or featured in The Architect's Diary isn't just about the accolades; it is about knowing that our specific approach—moving from sketches to reality—connects with people. ### Why Our Work Stands Out We do not believe in trends that fade. Our studio in Bengaluru focuses on: * **Biophilic Integration:** As seen in our office projects, we prioritize natural cooling, indoor planter systems, and abundant daylight to reduce AC dependency. * **Adaptive Reuse:** We love breathing new life into old structures, turning tired buildings into modern landmarks through facade makeovers and structural interventions. * **Retail as Narrative:** In our boutique veneer showroom, we turned the products themselves into the architecture, creating an immersive, tactile experience rather than just a display area. ### The Process Behind the Recognition Behind every project featured in these publications lies a rigorous, hands-on process. We handle the entire design-and-construction cycle, from the first messy sketch on a napkin to the final site handover. This total control allows us to obsess over the smallest details—like custom-made joinery, wire-free workstations, and climate-responsive brick screens. When you see our work in a magazine or competition gallery, you are seeing the result of a process where we sweat the small stuff so our clients do not have to. If you are looking for design that feels honest and works with nature, we would love to discuss your project. ## About AD Studio 9 We are Apoorva and Sandesh, the duo behind AD Studio 9.
