When our players face match pressure on a surface they have not practiced on before, they learn more about their technique in two hours than they do in a week of training. These aren't just trips; they are vital tests of mental toughness and tactical awareness that separate good players from match-winners. ### Beyond the Nets Training in a controlled environment is essential, but it is only half the battle. Our unique opportunities program is designed to break the routine and force adaptation. We partner with the Chicago Youth Cricket Academy to run international tours, giving our students exposure to different styles of play, varied pitch conditions, and the challenge of traveling as a team. ### The Mumbai Experience Closer to home, we secure slots for practice matches at some of Mumbai's most prestigious grounds, including the Brabourne Stadium. For a young cricketer, walking onto a stadium pitch for the first time is a massive shift in perspective. It forces them to respect the size of the boundary, manage their nerves in an open setting, and execute skills under the watchful eye of coaches who treat these sessions as serious tournament simulations. ### Why This Matters - **Technical Adaptability:** Learning to adjust your backlift or footwork based on outfield speed and pitch bounce. - **Match Temperament:** Developing the ability to stay focused for the duration of a full-day match, not just a 20-minute net session. - **Global Exposure:** Interacting with international teams and understanding different cricket cultures, particularly through our Trinidad and US-based partnerships. We document these journeys to ensure every player sees the pathway from the net session in Chembur to the stadium final. If you want to know which tour is coming next or how to qualify for our next stadium fixture, reach out to us. We are always looking for players ready to commit to the grind. ## About Achievers Cricket Academy We are the Achievers Cricket Academy family, based in Chembur but playing everywhere.
