My training starts with the 5-second rule. I pet a dog for five seconds and then stop. If they move away, I give them space. If they lean in, they want more. This small action completely changes the power dynamic, teaching your dog that their boundaries matter to you. ### Beyond Basic Obedience Most people come to me looking to fix a specific problem, like leash pulling or separation anxiety. But the real work happens when we shift focus from 'making' a dog behave to 'teaching' them how to be calm. Whether I am visiting your home in Delhi or working in a local park, my goal is to help you understand why your dog acts the way they do. ### The 'YES' Marker Method Communication is the biggest gap in most owner-dog relationships. We use the 'YES' marker to bridge that gap. By saying 'YES' the exact moment your dog performs a desired action, we provide instant, clear feedback. This helps your dog learn faster because they aren't guessing what you want from them. It is clean, simple, and effective for everything from puppy potty training to complex anxiety rehabilitation. ### Why Letting Dogs Be Dogs Matters We often forget that dogs need to sniff, roll, and explore to regulate their stress. A tired dog is a good dog, but a mentally stimulated dog is a happy one. I encourage sessions that allow for decompression. If your dog is struggling with reactivity, sometimes the best training isn't a command, but a walk where they are allowed to just be a dog in a safe, quiet environment. ### My Approach to Behavior I treat every dog as an individual. My assessment process, which covers everything from home environment audits to temperament testing, is designed to identify the root cause of behavior. We don't just put a bandage on the problem.
