Every project here—whether it's a high-energy rooftop or a quiet studio—was built by getting my hands dirty with raw materials like lime wash, bamboo, and stone. The result is always a balance of atmosphere and structure, designed to make people linger longer. If you have a site in mind, I can help you figure out how to stretch your budget across lighting and texture to create that same 'sukh and sukoon' without overspending on unnecessary frills. ### My Design Philosophy Architecture is more than just structure. It is the feeling you get when you step inside a room. I approach every project with a mix of 'kulbulahat' (creative restlessness) and technical precision. My goal is to strip away the noise and focus on what truly makes a space function—the flow, the lighting, and the tactile quality of the surfaces. ### How We Work I operate as a turnkey partner. This means you do not need to coordinate with separate contractors for civil work, furniture, and finishing. My team and I handle everything from the initial sketch to the final site installation. * **Materiality:** I favor honest materials. You will often see me using bamboo, rattan, lime wash, and stone. I prefer finishes that age gracefully. * **Process:** My studio is my laboratory. We experiment with mud textures and custom lighting fixtures right here before bringing them to your site. * **Commercial & Hospitality Expertise:** I specialize in high-traffic environments that need to handle wear and tear while still looking beautiful. Whether it is a rooftop cafe in Delhi or a boutique hotel, I ensure the layout is practical for staff and inviting for customers. ### Why Partner With Me? If you are looking for generic, cookie-cutter designs, I am probably not the right fit. However, if you want a space that feels like it has a story, a space that utilizes natural forms and biophilic elements to create a calm escape from the city, let’s talk. I enjoy working with clients who want to be involved in the creative journey, and I take pride in building relationships that last long after the project is handed over. ## About Aavyaktaya Architects I’m Akshay. I don’t just design on a computer; I’m the one mixing the mud and carving the wood on-site. My goal is always the same: to create spaces that bring a little more peace to the daily grind.
