We apply a metallic gel and then use a magnet to manipulate the particles before curing, creating that deep, light-shifting streak that changes every time you turn your hand. It is a completely custom effect, and we can make it as subtle or as dramatic as you like, depending on the base color you choose. ### How the Magic Works The Cat Eye effect isn't just standard polish. It is a combination of specialized magnetic gel and artistic precision. We start by applying a polish that contains tiny metal shavings. Once applied, we use a magnet to pull those particles into a sharp, floating 'eye' of light. ### Customizing Your Set You aren't limited to a single style. Many of our clients love to pair the Cat Eye effect with a classic French manicure or blend it into an Ombré gradient. - **Shapes:** While it works on any nail, we find the effect really pops on longer Almond, Coffin, or Stiletto shapes. - **Durability:** Just like our other gel extensions, you can expect these to stay shiny and fresh for about 2 to 3 weeks before you need a refill. ### Making It Yours Because this process is highly reactive to how we move the magnet, every set comes out slightly different. It is basically art on your fingertips. We love getting creative, so if you have a specific color in mind or saw a trend online, bring it in.
