My goal is always to hold that grand aesthetic alongside the day-to-day reality of a lived-in home. When I take on a project, I look to historical styles like French classicism and Victorian grandeur for inspiration. These are not trends to me, but long-standing architectural languages that bring soul into a space. Projects like 'The Colonial House,' which appeared in India Today Home and Architecture + Design, rely on high-quality materials like Italian marble, heavy velvet, and solid wood frames. I do not hide behind simplicity in my designs. Instead, I choose to embrace complexity through high ceilings, intricate moldings, and rich textiles. This approach results in homes that are not just visually grand, but structurally sound and comfortable for a family. Whether I am planning a new build from the ground up or a total interior renovation, I manage the process from the first line on the blueprint to the final decor placement. My focus remains on professional oversight, ensuring that every piece of furniture, from the custom sofas to the crystal chandeliers, works in harmony with the architecture of the home. ## About Aashi Gupta Designs I am Aashi.
