Because I hand-pour every layer, they take time to cure perfectly, especially with intricate details like gold foil flakes and pearl borders. If you have a specific festival date, reach out at least a week prior so I can make sure your thali is ready to shine on your puja table. Transitioning from traditional steel to custom resin thalis is a game changer for festive home decor. Whether you are prepping for a vibrant Raksha Bandhan or setting up a serene Janmashtami puja, these platters add a personal layer to your celebrations that store-bought items just cannot match. ### How Customization Works Every piece starts with a conversation. You choose the base color—deep reds for weddings, soft pinks for tikka ceremonies, or clear epoxy for a minimalist aesthetic. We embed gold leaf, pearl borders, or floral kundan pieces based on your preference. Want your family name or a specific deity's name? We add that with permanent acrylic calligraphy that doesn't peel. ### Why Resin for Puja? Beyond aesthetics, resin is durable and easy to clean. Unlike metal thalis that tarnish, these remain glossy and vibrant. My process involves multiple pours to ensure the katoris for kumkum and rice are set firmly, creating a functional piece that doubles as a stunning centerpiece. ### The 'Mehnati' Process Art takes time. Resin needs roughly 24 to 48 hours to set, followed by detailing work and then a final curing period to ensure it is safe for daily use. When you order, you aren't just getting a tray; you are getting a piece that has been poured, decorated, and finished by hand in my Delhi studio. This is ideal if you are looking for unique, artisanal gifts for Diwali return favors or wedding shagun platters that stand out. ## About Aartcafe Hi, I am the artist behind Aartcafe.
