I use epoxy grouting that is custom-matched to your tile color, which makes your walls look like a single, seamless slab of stone rather than a grid of squares. This technique is exactly what gives high-end hotels that monolithic, uninterrupted aesthetic. ### The Power of Large-Format Stone Moving away from traditional small tiles to 4ft x 2ft Glazed Vitrified Tiles (GVT) is the fastest way to make a bathroom feel larger and more expensive. Large-format tiles minimize joints, creating a cleaner, more expansive look that suits both compact and spacious bathrooms. Whether you are aiming for the drama of black marble or the calming effect of grey stone, the impact is significant. ### Why Epoxy Grouting Matters In a wet environment like a bathroom, standard cement grout often cracks, discolors, or attracts mold over time. For all our statement stone installations, we use epoxy grouting. It is stain-resistant, waterproof, and seamless. By color-matching the grout to the stone, we ensure your walls feel like a continuous piece of art. This isn't just about aesthetics; it's about longevity and easier maintenance for you. ### Bringing the Hotel Experience Home Luxury isn't just about the surface; it's about the combination of elements. When we install statement stone, we pair it with: * **Matte or PVD-coated fixtures:** Rose gold, black, or gunmetal finishes that pop against the stone. * **Integrated Lighting:** We plan the stone layout to accommodate LED cove lighting and recessed spotlights, highlighting the texture and depth of the marble veins. * **Precision Waterproofing:** Since statement stone is an investment, we ensure the foundation is perfect with a 2-coat polymer-based application on sunken slabs before any tiling begins. Whether you are renovating a master bath in Indiranagar or upgrading a guest ensuite in Whitefield, my goal is to deliver that hotel-style finish that stays pristine for years. ## About Aapka Bathrooms I started Aapka Bathrooms in Bangalore because I believe your bathroom should be your private escape, not just a utility space.
