Whether it’s a random request for a 90s classic or a sudden shift in energy that needs a fast-paced beat, I do not use backing tracks. I read the room, adjust the setlist on the fly, and if I forget a lyric, we will just laugh, fix it, and keep the party going. Planning a wedding or Sangeet night shouldn't feel like building a rigid playlist; it should feel like catching up with an old friend who just happens to have a guitar. When you book me for your wedding, you are not hiring a jukebox. You are getting a live performer who interacts with the crowd, takes requests, and actually cares about the flow of the evening. ### My Approach Whether you want an intimate acoustic setup for the Mehendi or high-energy band performance for the Sangeet, I tailor the sound. For smaller, cozy gatherings, it is just me and my guitar. For the big nights, I bring the full band to ensure the energy stays high. I always insist on a soundcheck because, for me, quality audio is non-negotiable. It ensures that the music sounds as good in the back of the hall as it does right in front of the stage. ### Why Live Music Matters There is something about a live wedding singer that canned music simply cannot replicate. It is the eye contact with the couple during their first dance, the impromptu banter when the crowd gets loud, and the shared vulnerability of a Sangeet performance. I travel across India for destination weddings and bring my own gear or coordinate with your venue’s sound team. Let’s talk about your vision. What tracks define your love story? I am here to learn them and make your night one you will actually remember, even if I have to improvise a lyric or two along the way. ## About Aamir Mehdi I am Aamir, and music is not just my job.
