For these festival shows, we scale up our setup to include professional sound reinforcement and lighting, ensuring that our live folk music and delicate voice modulation reach every corner of the hall while keeping the raw, acoustic charm of our heritage intact. When we step onto a grand stage, the goal remains the same as it is in a small village square, but the preparation changes. My troupe, Aakaar Puppet Theatre, brings the full depth of Rajasthani folklore to large-scale productions. We perform epic narratives like 'Dhola Maru' and 'Amar Singh Rathore', accompanied by a full live band. This includes the Dholak, Harmonium, and traditional folk vocals that are essential to the performance. For festivals and auditoriums, we use our specialized giant puppets and mask puppets. These are designed to hold the attention of a large crowd, making the visual impact as strong as the storytelling. We have worked with everyone from cultural festivals like Nadi Utsav to modern performers like Vishal and Shekhar, showing that our traditional strings can connect with any audience. If you are planning an event at a cultural centre or a public festival, please keep in mind that we require technical support for sound and lighting to ensure the acoustics of our live folk ensemble are balanced. We are deeply committed to maintaining the sanctity of our art, so every show is a blend of disciplined performance and spontaneous, heart-to-heart connection with the audience. We travel across India to share these stories, and we are always open to discussing how our heritage performance can fit into your festival schedule. ## About Aakaar Puppet Theatre I am Puran Bhat. For me, a stage is just a place where our stories breathe. Whether it is an intimate school gathering or a grand festival like Nadi Utsav, my team and I pour our hearts into every show to make sure our Rajasthani heritage speaks to the crowd.
