I consider the weight of the jewellery against the drape of the saree, the lighting on the metal, and the narrative we are building. For instance, in our Tanishq shoots, we balance heavy heirloom gold with soft fabrics to ensure the jewellery remains the hero while the styling feels natural. I am always on set to manage those crucial micro-adjustments, like the fall of a necklace or the visibility of a pendant, ensuring the final frame looks perfect. ### Our Approach to Jewellery Campaigns Directing a jewellery campaign is a delicate balance. The pieces need to stand out, but they must also feel integrated into a wider story—whether that is a festive family gathering or a modern, minimalist portrait. My team at Paralove handles the entire process, from initial concept notes to the final logistics. ### The Process * **Concept Development:** We start by identifying the core emotion of the collection. Is it heritage, modern elegance, or daily wear? We build a mood board that dictates lighting, set design, and the narrative arc. * **Casting and Sourcing:** Finding the right talent is half the work. We cast models who embody the brand's voice and then source outfits that complement the jewellery without distracting from it. Fabrics like silk, chiffon, and raw cotton are chosen specifically for how they interact with gold, diamond, or polki sets. * **On-Set Execution:** This is where the technical work happens. My assistants and I are constantly on set to adjust flares, collars, and necklace lengths.
