Before we start, our team scrapes away old, loose plaster and carefully treats cracks with a V-groove technique. This ensures your final paint layer bonds to a clean, stable surface rather than resting on dust or existing decay. ### Why Prep Work Matters Many painting issues, such as peeling, bubbling, or uneven texture, are not caused by the paint itself, but by the state of the wall underneath. In our experience, skipping surface preparation is the fastest way to waste your investment. Our process is designed to address the root causes of paint failure. ### Our Preparation Process We follow a rigorous set of steps to ensure every wall is ready for paint: * **Deep Cleaning:** We remove all dust, debris, and existing loose paint so the new materials can adhere correctly. * **Crack Repair:** Using V-groove techniques, we open up and fill cracks to prevent them from returning. This is a critical step for both aesthetic finish and long-term durability. * **Surface Sanding:** We sand the walls to eliminate imperfections, providing an even base that makes the final paint coat look seamless. * **Professional Priming:** A primer is mandatory to seal the surface, prevent stains from bleeding through, and ensure the topcoat lasts as long as possible. ### The Cost of Ignoring Prep While proper preparation requires time and patience, it is the most cost-effective approach for your property. By treating dampness and structural issues correctly the first time, you avoid the recurring expense of patchwork repairs and premature repainting. Whether we are handling interior walls in a residential apartment or exterior surfaces in a commercial building across Bengaluru, our goal is a finish that stays strong against the elements and daily wear. ## About Aabha Painters We got tired of seeing messy jobs and endless delays in Bangalore, so we started doing things our way. Whether it is a simple interior refresh or fixing serious dampness, we handle the prep work thoroughly so you do not have to worry about peeling paint a few months later.
