## About Art Workshop & Event Facilitation

I use art to engage with people and create spaces together. Basically, I don't particularly teach. Movement, theatre, music, and painting are all tools I work with.

### Retreats, residencies, and creative respites

I've worked in facilitation since 2016, with children, NGO communities, and people in corporate spaces. I design art retreats, residencies, and creative respites, and run private workshops too.

At ArtBeat in Karjat, I was part of a five-person team facilitating a three-day retreat for 150 people from D2K Technologies. That retreat included Shavasana, body and emotion-based drawing, group painting, and shared conversations.

### Creating with communities and at events

Community painting drives bring people's stories onto a shared wall. I guide participants as they paint. At events, I also do live painting and interactive art stalls, including Aabhar Kona, a space for gratitude.

### Finding a space

I can draw on my network to look for office or community spaces for workshops, including in Delhi and Bombay. It's something I can help explore, not a guaranteed venue with every session.

## Meet your expert

[Anupama](https://mytribe.in/a_new_pama)

### My story

I'm from Ekma, Bihar, and Delhi is home now. I've been working in facilitation since 2016. In 2022, I left a full-time social-sector role to build my life as an artist. So those are two different parts of my journey. Painting has been there throughout. "mummy ne toh artist banake hi chhoda!" I work as an independent creative, from a separate room in my home.

### My work

- **What I do**: I paint commissioned artwork and murals, create art for merchandise, and facilitate creative arts workshops and retreats.
- **Commissions**: I work in acrylics, oils, and other painting media, in any size. I don't work with dry media.
- **Your space**: For homes, I paint what you'd like there. For organisations, I help put their work on the walls.
- **Art for merchandise**: I paint artwork for diaries, postcards, and tote bags, and help small brands and NGOs get them manufactured.
- **Creative facilitation**: I use movement, theatre, music, and painting to engage people and kind of create spaces for them.
- **Community walls**: I often guide community members in painting murals and maintaining the walls after I've gone.
