Whether it is a Bihu celebration or a cultural gathering, I perform in traditional Mekhela Sador to bring an authentic vibe to your venue. It is not just about the melody, it is about honoring the music of my land. Assam’s music is in my heart, and I love sharing it. When you book me for a 'Regional & Folk Special', you are getting more than just a musical performance. You are getting a curated tribute to the legends who shaped our culture. ### What to Expect * **A Cultural Journey:** I cover a wide spectrum, from the soulful ballads of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika and Jayanta Hazarika to the high-energy festive rhythms of Bihu. * **Traditional Presentation:** For these specific events, I wear traditional Mekhela Sador to keep the atmosphere immersive and respectful of our roots. * **Fusion & Adaptability:** If you have a mixed audience, I can create unique mashups, blending Assamese folk with other regional styles to ensure everyone feels included and entertained. ### Practical Details * **Duration:** These sets are typically 90 to 120 minutes of continuous live music, perfect for cultural programs or themed house parties. * **Technical Needs:** I require a standard sound system with a vocal mic and a line-in for my acoustic guitar. If the gathering is very intimate (under 20 guests), we might manage with natural projection, but a PA system is recommended for larger spaces. I am based in Guwahati and frequently travel for events. If you want a performance that feels like home, let’s chat about your song requests and the vibe you are looking for. ## About Archita Agasti I'm Archita, and music is how I breathe.
