On your first day, you’ll pick up your shears and start practicing sectioning on mannequins under my direct guidance. By the time you hit the salon floor, you’re working with real, live models so you actually know how to handle different textures and client expectations. It’s all about building that muscle memory so you walk away confident, not just informed. ### Why the 'No-Spectator' Approach Matters Most hair courses trap you in a classroom for days, leaving you with a notebook full of theory but zero real-world confidence. At Texture Hair Academy, we flip that. My 'Decode Your Hair' approach is designed for those who learn by doing. We keep our batches intentionally small—max four students—because I want to watch your hand placement, correct your angles, and help you troubleshoot in real-time. ### The Training Flow * **Day 1-2 (Foundation):** We start with mannequins to master sectioning, commercial layers, and precision cutting techniques like Bobs and Butterfly cuts. * **Day 3-5 (Colour Mastery):** This is where we dive into chemistry. You'll practice foil placement, balayage blending, and grey coverage. We also tackle colour correction—neutralizing brassiness and fixing uneven tones. * **Day 6-7 (Live Execution):** You aren't just watching me work. You’ll be executing full services on live models, from consultation to final blowout. This is the bridge between being a student and becoming a salon-ready stylist. ### Who This Is For This isn't for people looking for a 'quick cert' to hang on a wall. It’s for stylists who are already working but feel stuck, or for those ready to commit to the craft. We provide unlimited access to pro-grade supplies like Wella and L'Oreal colours, plus bond builders like Olaplex, so you get used to working with industry-standard materials right here in Thane West.
