You just need to bring the traditional outfits, whether it is a tiny dhoti-kurta or a paithani-style frock, and I handle the natural lighting and setup in Pune's parks to ensure your child feels comfortable and looks their absolute best. There is something truly special about seeing a child dressed in traditional Maharashtrian attire. It connects them to their roots, and my goal is to document that connection with the same natural, candid style I use for all my photography. My approach to these themed sessions is simple: we keep it real. We avoid heavy studio lighting and stiff backdrops. Instead, we head to Pune's local gardens or parks where your child can run, smile, and just be themselves. The props I carry—like the miniature bullock cart or the tiny dhol—are there to add a layer of narrative to the images. They aren't just accessories; they help tell a story of culture and play. I often mix posed shots with candid ones. I might start with a classic portrait of your baby seated on a small wooden prop, and then let them play with the dhol while I capture those spontaneous, genuine expressions. The *nazakat* (grace) happens when they stop 'performing' and start playing. If you have a specific family heirloom, like a small pagadi (turban) or a piece of jewelry, please bring it along.
