I specialize in merging separate reference images into one seamless composition. This means we can bring your whole family together on a single canvas, even if you have never all been in the same frame at the same time. My goal is to create an heirloom that holds meaning for your family long after the initial photo was taken. When you commission a family portrait, we work together to decide on the perfect composition. Whether you want a large statement piece for your living room or a medium-sized canvas for a smaller wall, I adapt my technique to suit the space. ### The Process Behind Your Portrait Every painting starts with your reference photos. I pay close attention to the details that make your family unique, from the texture of traditional attire and jewelry to the subtle expressions on each face. I work in a realistic style, focusing on skin tones and capturing the genuine warmth in a smile. If you prefer a slightly softer, more artistic feel, I can incorporate an impressionist touch while keeping the likeness true to life. ### Why Oil on Canvas? I choose oil paints for these pieces because of their depth, richness, and longevity. Once the paint is dry, I coat each portrait with non-yellowing varnish to protect it from dust and UV rays. This ensures your custom oil painting remains vibrant for decades. Whether you are looking to honour your parents, celebrate a new addition to the family, or create a memorial piece, I handle the entire process. I offer different size ranges, from 12x16 inches up to large 30x40 inch gallery canvases, and everything comes finished with a frame, ready to hang. ## About Aashi Jain Hi, I am Aashi.
