We carefully analyze the fabric to dodge any thin spots or stains, making sure those signature embroidery butis and borders are placed exactly where they will shine on your new silhouette. Our approach to preservation isn't just about cutting fabric, it is about respecting the history woven into every thread. Whether you have a heavy bridal lehenga or a vintage silk saree, here is how we handle your pieces: ### The Consultation We start by looking at your garment together. If the fabric has age-related wear or stains, we map out the 'clean' sections. My team and I plan the pattern placement to ensure we only use the best parts, often supplementing with plain, high-quality fabric to provide structure or to extend the length. ### Salvaging the Intricate Bits This is the heart of the work. We meticulously deconstruct the original piece to save handmade tassels, zardozi work, and border patches. If you loved the specific placement of a flower motif on your original blouse, we make sure that same motif becomes the hero of your new design. ### Giving It a Modern Fit Preservation is useless if you do not wear the final piece.
