I believe that for a home to feel right, the process needs to be as transparent as the end result. When you read about my journey, you will see why I emphasize clear budgets, realistic timelines, and a collaborative approach over quick, template-based fixes. ### Bridging Engineering and Aesthetics My roots are in civil engineering, and I carry that perspective into every design. It means I don't just look at how a space looks; I look at how it functions. In my features, I talk about the 'rollercoaster' of running a studio because design is rarely perfectly smooth. It involves site challenges, coordinating multiple vendors, and managing expectations. I share these stories so you know what to expect when we work together. ### The Philosophy of Joyful Spaces Clients often ask what I mean by 'joyful spaces.' A home is a person's place of peace. Whether we are executing a mid-century modern living room or an Indian-heritage inspired bedroom, the goal remains the same: creating a space that feels like *you*. It is not about forcing a style onto a floor plan; it is about finding the intersection between your personality and the architecture. ### Why I Share My Process I believe in demystifying interior design. That is why I host workshops and write about my workflows—from mood boards to 3D rendering. I want you to understand that good design is a deliberate, step-by-step process. When you choose to work with me, you are getting more than just a decorator; you are getting a partner who manages everything from the first concept sketch to the final site inspection, ensuring your project runs on time and within the discussed budget. ## About Estilo Designs I'm Monisha, the founder of Estilo Designs. I approach every project with a civil engineering mindset but a creative heart, ensuring your home is both structurally sound and aesthetically yours. Let's build something together.
