# Uday Lapsia

As a multi-format DJ, my passion is making people dance with everything from 80s/90s retro to modern Bollywood. I focus on reading the crowd and curating vibes, not just playlists, to create memories one beat at a time.

## Meet your expert

### My story

Mumbai is home, yaar. Born and raised, can't imagine life anywhere else. Music's in my blood - thanks to legends like DJ Aqeel and Akbar Sami, who actually took time to guide me. Playing at Chembur Gymkhana, my adda (hangout), with my people in the crowd, nothing beats that feeling. My wife and I, 21 years, still my favourite dance partner. Whether it’s a gig or family trip, it’s all about those moments. Give me a console, I’m sorted.

### My work

- **Multi-Format DJ for Any Event**: I play everything - club nights, cocktails, sangeet, sundowners, big festivals. Bollywood sundowner DJ or House music sangeet, I can switch up the vibe.
- **Retro 80s & 90s Specialist**: Love mixing Pop, Reggae, Hip Hop, Rock, and those classic disco tracks. Nostalgic disco party Mumbai? That’s my jam.
- **Future Sounds of Bollywood**: Not just old school. I blend Bollywood with Deephouse, Progressive, Tech - for a modern Bollywood mixtape vibe.
- **Curating Vibes, Not Just Playlists**: My thing is reading the crowd, making memories with every beat. If you want energy, I’ll bring it.
