We focus on the structural balance, ensuring those delicate butterfly wings—whether wafer paper or edible accents—stay vibrant and sturdy throughout your party, even in Mumbai’s humidity. Butterfly cakes are all about that balance between delicate aesthetics and solid structure. In our studio, we work with wafer paper to create those fluttering, layered effects you see in our photos. Achieving the perfect ombre gradient on buttercream takes a steady hand, and we pay close attention to the base sponge texture to ensure it holds up, regardless of the tier size. Everything we bake is 100% pure veg. We do not use eggs, but we have mastered the chemistry to keep the sponge moist and light. Whether you want a simple design for a small gathering or a larger multi-tier cake for a big birthday, we adapt the construction so your cake looks as fresh at the end of the party as it did when it arrived. From the name toppers to the specific shade of lilac or purple, we sit down with you to finalize the details. Many of our clients love pairing these themes with classic flavors like vanilla or rich chocolate. If you are planning a first or second birthday, ask us about incorporating kinetic elements—like moving wings—to add an extra layer of surprise for your guests. ## About Cakes & Cuts We are the two sisters behind Cakes & Cuts, and we absolutely love creating these butterfly themes. It is not just about the sugar; it is about making sure your special day feels exactly like you imagined. We bake from our Thane studio and take pride in every detail, just like we would for our own family.
