I solve this by replacing refined sugar with natural sweeteners like dates and jaggery, and using 100% whole wheat flour that holds its own. These are not diet food; they are just quality ingredients, balanced properly so you can enjoy a slice without the guilt. ### Ingredients Matter I don't believe in shortcuts. When I bake my healthy range, I avoid refined flour (maida) entirely. Instead, I use whole wheat flour and natural sweeteners like dates, jaggery, or stevia. Whether it is a date and walnut tea cake for your evening coffee or a sugar-free cake for a 75th birthday, I ensure the crumb remains moist and flavorful. You get the same passion and freshness that goes into my standard cakes, just with a wholesome twist. ### Freshly Baked, Never Stocked I run this business from my home in Santacruz East, and I do not keep pre-made inventory. Every loaf of whole wheat bread or healthy tea cake is baked only after you order it. This is why I need at least 2 days of notice to prepare your order properly. This time allows me to source the best nuts, proof the dough correctly, and ensure your treat is at peak freshness when it reaches you. ### My Philosophy My journey as a home baker is about honesty. If I would not feed it to my own family, I would not send it to yours. These bakes are designed to be enjoyed at home, with family, or as thoughtful gifts. They are simple, clean, and made with heart. ## About Cakecious I am Ashwini, the person behind Cakecious. I started this business from my home because I believe everyone deserves a treat that feels good to eat, and seeing my clients enjoy these healthier bakes is the best part of my day.
