I use charcoal powder and specific blending brushes to create those deep, realistic textures. Since each piece is a form of meditation for me, I take my time with every layer. If you are looking to commission a custom devotional portrait, understand that I prioritize depth over speed. I didn't start this to build a massive business, but to build a space where I could breathe. Being an architect is my profession, but drawing is where I truly reset. When you look at these process videos, you are seeing my version of therapy. Whether it is a sketch of Swami Samarth, Mahadev, or Ganesha, the process is always the same. I start with a simple grid for accuracy, then build the life into the eyes and expressions using graphite and charcoal. It is not just about putting pencil to paper. It is about capturing a feeling. I use high-quality textured fine art paper because it holds the graphite better and gives that old-school, tactile feel I love. My work is shipped across India, from my studio here in the Mumbai area to wherever you are, safely rolled in rigid tubes or framed for your walls. If you are planning to commission a piece, please know that this is a slow process. I do not do quick sketches. If you want a custom portrait or a specific deity sketch, reach out and we can chat about the story behind it. It is my way of bringing a little peace into your home, one line at a time. ## About Sketchink Studio Hi, I am Isha. By day, I am an architect, but Sketchink is where I find my calm.
