This isn't just about the sketches; it's about the grit, the late nights, and the journey of building a small business from scratch in Mumbai. ## Photos and videos - [Video: My small business doesn't just bring in a little income, it brings me immense joy and the freedom to make small choices for myself. I use professional-grade Brustro 200 GSM paper for every sketch, ensuring that what arrives at your doorstep is a durable, high-quality piece of art that respects the emotional value of your memory. ### Building from Scratch My journey started with a simple belief: I wanted to show that a daughter could build something real on her own terms. For the last six years, Sketchink Studio has grown from a small table in Mumbai to over 600 homes across India. It has not always been easy. There are days when I am exhausted from site visits, but the act of drawing is my therapy. ### The Architectural Approach to Art My professional background as an architect influences how I approach every piece. Precision, structural integrity, and depth matter to me. When I create a portrait, I am looking at anatomy, lighting, and composition with the same technical eye I use to design a home. I rely on high-density charcoal and graphite pencils to bring contrast and realism to every face. ### Why Customization Matters Because my work is handmade and not mass-produced, every order is a collaboration. Whether you are ordering a spiritual sketch of Lord Mahadev, a family portrait, or a custom gift, we start with a conversation. I will ask for high-resolution reference photos and guide you on the best composition. I am always honest about my timelines. If a piece requires 14 days of work for the level of detail it deserves, I will tell you upfront. You are paying for my time, my craft, and the intention I pour into every stroke. ## About Sketchink Studio Hi, I am Isha. I balance architecture and art, often moving from a construction site straight to my pencils. This studio is where I pour my energy, creating pieces that capture the stories you hold close.
