This gallery features some of our favourite pockets of design, like this rooftop terrace garden where we balanced a brick privacy wall with lush, built-in planters to create a quiet escape in the middle of the city. Our work is a labour of love, built brick by brick. We do not just design buildings; we create spaces for solitude, daydreaming, and new beginnings. This cluster showcases the range of our design practice, from structural remodeling to the finer details of a home. ### Designing with Natural Materials We lean into honest, raw materials that age beautifully. You will often see us using Jaisalmer stone, Kota, or Athangudi tiles paired with warm terracotta brick and natural timber. In the featured terrace garden, we used traditional roofing tiles to protect the space while keeping it airy, allowing the greenery to become the hero of the composition. We believe these materials ground a home, making it feel rooted in its surroundings rather than imposed upon them. ### Our Design Philosophy - **Tropical Modernism:** We blend modern layouts with South Indian sensibilities, focusing on light paths and ventilation. - **The Human Element:** Every design starts with a conversation. We involve you in every sketch, material sample selection, and site visit to ensure the end result reflects your story. - **Light and Shadow:** Whether it is a skylight in a kitchen or a large window in a reading nook, we treat light as a building material, using it to shift the mood of a room throughout the day. ### What We Build - **Residential:** Full home design, remodeling, and structural changes. - **Landscapes:** Rooftop gardens, indoor courtyards, and green transitions. - **Custom Interiors:** Handcrafted furniture, unique lighting fixtures, and custom joinery designed specifically for your space. If you are looking for design solutions that prioritize natural finishes and personal comfort, we would love to walk you through our process. ## About 1Leapingfrog Studio We are Leapingfrog Studio, or just the gang as our clients call us.
